With the health and safety of our residents foremost in mind, Palolo Chinese Home immediately provided testing to its residents and Senior Day Care program participants after PCH was notified that a non-direct Food Service worker, and subsequently two direct-role staff, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The three employees all worked independently from each other, and each contracted the virus outside of the facility. These tests have come in today, and we are relieved to report that all tests are negative. On the recommendation of Dr. Scott Miscovich of Premier Medical Group, a second round of testing will commence on August 8 as an added precaution.
